Brisbane Parade

Today we all went into the city (on a bus, woo-hoo) to see a St Patrick's day parade. Never before have so many Irish Bog-trotters been seen outside of their homeland, according to daddy.




As you can see I wore my green, yellow and white Dorothy the Dinosaur hat so that I wouldn't look too out of place. Daddy wore his Scotland rugby shirt in order to annoy the Bog-trotters whom Scotland are playing at rugby at Murrayfield later today. There were lots of pipe bands and people wearing kilts. The funniest thing was seeing a pipe band playing Scotland the Brave - at an Irish parade - how funny - I almost dropped my lollipop I was laughing so hard.
Anyway, lets see what the rest of the weekend brings.

Hello, Now I have no idea why the blog machine has put the pictures in this order as it is not what I asked it to do so you'll have to work around the pictures with commentary. Lately I have been "helping" dad remove the wallpaper from the walls of the new house. I think I am actually really good at this and may pursue this as a career. It will be a lot better when I grow a bit and can reach the bits at the top of the walls. Yesterday we went to Redcliffe to see Ann, Peter and cook and book as daddy calls them. We went swimming in the sea and at their pool and mummy managed to get herself burnt. I was fine - as you can see I had my french foreign legion hat on. I have recently moved from the cot into the big boys bed and so we had the ceremonial throwing out of the cot mattress this week - I could resist one more lie down on it though - just for old times sake. Fathers Day and Running FAST!

Hey everyone - its Gracie here. Just a quick post to give you update of the last few days. Sunday was pretty exciting....It was Fathers Day here in Oz. Daddy was sooooo lucky. We got him all sorts of exciting gifts like socks and key-rings and chocolates and we all had pancakes for breakfast! In the afternoon we all went to Wellington Point beach for a walk and had ice cream. Life really doesn't get any better! I think Daddy was particularly pleased with this fathers day as he needed cheering up. He's been really grumpy recently as he is unable to run. He has a knee injury apparently so is having a few weeks off to recover. We all cant wait for him to start running again so we can get some peace! Its a normal school week this week (boooooooo) but today we had cross-country running. I came 12th and I am going to leave Alastair to tell you about his race...... Hi, Ally-Boo here. Trip to Warwick

Hello all, just a quick update for you. We went to Warwick this weekend to see Nana and Papa. There was a big festival on called Jumper and Jazz in July and all of the trees down the main street of Warwick were dressed up in strange looking clothes. There were also lots of bands playing lots of music too. Uncle Bruce and Auntie Alison and Emily and Jamie came down on the Saturday which was great. On Sunday we went down to the park for the final day of the festival. There were all sorts of things happening and I won a water pistol and a racing car at one of the fairground stands. Daddy bought tablet from the Scottish stall which was yummy! Mummy and Daddy forgot to bring the camera with them this weekend (DOH!) but luckily Bruce was able to use his phone to take a pic of me with my cousins and the next door dogs at Warwick.
