City boy hits the country

Well hello there - what have you been up to this week Alastair, I hear you ask? Well its funny that you should all say that cause I have been to visit Nana and Papa in Warwick for the weekend. We got up to lots of exciting things there but to cut a long story short I was bitten by a duck! It was at the warwick show! They had a nice kids area where you could pat all the animals and that was fine but in the next shed they had all the chickens and ducks and I just continued to pat away as I had been doing but one duck wasnt wanting this and bit my hand! Anyway, moving on. On the way back to Brisbane we stopped at a national park for a picnic lunch and we played in a river for a while. We had a go at skimming stones and playing pooh-sticks. At the picnic I tried to smear vegemite on daddys face but he was having none of it! This week I am going to Townsville with Mummy to see Susan, John, Harry and kate which will be fun. We are going in a big plane which daddy says is practise for the bi

Brisbane Parade

Hello Blog readers of the world. Today we all went into the city (on a bus, woo-hoo) to see a St Patrick's day parade. Never before have so many Irish Bog-trotters been seen outside of their homeland, according to daddy. As you can see I wore my green, yellow and white Dorothy the Dinosaur hat so that I wouldn't look too out of place. Daddy wore his Scotland rugby shirt in order to annoy the Bog-trotters whom Scotland are playing at rugby at Murrayfield later today. There were lots of pipe bands and people wearing kilts. The funniest thing was seeing a pipe band playing Scotland the Brave - at an Irish parade - how funny - I almost dropped my lollipop I was laughing so hard. Anyway, lets see what the rest of the weekend brings. Bye, Boo.

seafaring tales

Hello all, hope you are all well. This weekend we spent a lot of time by the sea. On saturday we got up and went down to the Gold coast for an early morning swim. We forgot the camera so there's no pics of there. On saturday afternoon my friends carter and xavier came over for dinner and weall ended up in the bath after getting dinner all over ourselves. On sunday we all went out on Jason and Janelles boat to Peel Island in Moreton Bay. Dont worry Granny, you can see I am wearing my life-jacket! I particularly like the fact it comes with a whistle. Jason moored the boast close to the beach and we waded ashore. We had a good swim and picnic for about 1-2 hours then it was back on the boat for the trip home. I fell asleep on daddys knee. On sunday afternoon we went for a BBQ at a friends of Mummys. Again, we forgot the camera! What an active weekend we had. Bye for now - ally boo.
